The house has been designed by David Adjaye, one of Britain’s trendiest architects, whose clients have included Ewan McGregor, among other artists and actors.

It is located on the outskirts of Hoxton, one of hippest places in London. At only 7 minutes distance to Dalston Kingsland station where you can catch a fast train that will jet you to the Olympics in Stratford in only 11 minutes.

At the same time you are at walking distance from the stylish areas of Hoxton, Shoreditch and the financial centre / the City.

The house is famous, and regularly features in the London Open House event, held every September when is it possible to visit a huge range of buildings of architectural interest not normally open to the public. Minimal and eco-friendly, stands out from other Victorian houses located in this quiet road in De Beauvoir Town.

The solid timber structure features three floors; an excavated lower ground floor, where the house sits, including a sunken patio, kitchen and dining area, two double bedrooms, one nursery (with cot and double sofa-bed) and one bathroom. The top level includes a bright living area.

It is difficult to find any negative point for a dream home like this one if not the price! This designer home doesn’t come cheap!

The only other negative is that it is not easy to park in this area as it is residents only for most of the days and there is no private parking. This is quite common in central London and I personally advise against driving into London for any tourist, and considering the overground is very close you won’t have any issues reaching the Olympic site and/or any tourist or business attractions in London.

This new built designer house is located on the outskirts of Hoxton, at only 7 minutes distance to Dalston Kingsland station where you can catch a fast train to the Olympics in Stratford in only 11 minutes every 5 minutes (during peak hours).
At the same time you are within walking distance from many restaurants, bars, and art galleries in Hoxton, Shoreditch and the City.

This family home is built and furnished in a way that will make it ideal for families with children; babies and toddlers will enjoy comfort ans safety of the nursery. The minimalist and clean interiors are harmless for crawling toddlers.

All in all this is an excellent choice for families that come to London this summer and want to stay in a designer home close to the Olympics but at the same time in a very quiet area, suitable for children.
