It depends on the market. Sometimes it's even free. If you are an Owner, please add your listing and we will let you know, or contact us first.
Who pays the commission?
We ask Owners to include the commission in the price and to give us the best price, so our Guests don't need to waste time searching for a better deal in other websites.
Check-in and check-out
The Owner must provide check-in, check-out, cleaning etc.. we don't provide this service.
How does it work?
1) Request: The Guest searches, browses and sends a request to us.
2) Offer: We ask the Owner if the property is available and at what price and for how long the offer is valid. We pass this offer to the guest.
3) Deposit: if the guest accepts, we cash the deposit for the Owners.
4) Arrival: If the guest arrives we keep the commission.
If the guest cancels or makes a no show, we pay the Owner the whole deposit.
We make no money on cancellations (actually we even lose the payment fee).
The Owner can still decide to tell us to refund the Customer.
In this case we will improve his/her search ranking.

We try to adapt to each market and are flexible enough to understand the Owner's needs.
This generates lot of exceptions in the above rules.
As a result, it's quite possible here we do not cover all cases and that you have some questions.
